SCAR pic thread (Page 9 of 77)
| Saw a add for it in FrontSight magazine gave Matt Burkett a call. Its built like a T72 tank! I never even considered offset mounts before with a M4. Getting a SCAR made it a nessesity if you want to run dual optics and not have some crazy height above bore offset. |

I see Although there will be people here who may disagree with this.....I think the Elcan is the best all around optic that you can ever put on an assault rifle. Beautiful setup. |

My 556 was a great rifle but it was time for something new. I picked up a SCAR 16 today and probably got dinged up pretty good on both the sale of my 556 and the price of this thing. But there is so much to be said for instant gratification. I didn't like all of the rails or the factory grip so I took of the side rails and picked up a Tango Down grip (was not a flush fit out of the box).

I got a PWS rail extension on today. That was no quick install. The only light mount on hand was a little bulky and would have left me with my front BUIS unable to fold (if I put a light in it in the 12 o'clock position). The only vertical grip on hand was an old school super long cheapo.

Here are a few of mine sporting a few new add ons... Added the US Palm grip, EMAG, VTAC Sling Mount (Thanks MM !!!), and swapped the COMP M4 for a T1... 
Also put 300 trouble free rounds through it yesterday and it is one smooth soft shooting rifle !!! |

I met up with a buddy and fellow forum member to take pictures of the rug in his garage tonight. He threw on some new stuff (PWS rail extension, black grip and miles of rail covers) and the SCARS just kept jumping into the shots.
