Here's my 13.7 cut down from Marvin Pitts with a MAMs pinned to 16.1". Changes the whole feel of the rifle. Geissele trigger and all the usual fixins:

I follow your stuff in the clone threads, so I take your opinion seriously. I appreciate it.
The combo of the MAMs and the shorter barrel length (with stock gas screw) make the recoil EVEN TAMER than the stock 16" with PWS brake. It's flipping amazing and the balance is sweet. I picked up a used MAMs in the EE for $200 shipped a few years ago. Originally Posted By buddyhoohaw: That's pretty damn awesome that you can get it so close to CQC length w/o having to go NFA. Agreed, that looks perfect! I'm trying to get into the 17 game this year. Have a few KAC Vault items I have to get first.

What size barrel length is this? Looks badass

Just got my 16 about a week ago. Finally got the rail changed out, that bottom rail screw was a real battle.
Trying to decide on an optic at this point, looking at a vortex razor uh-1, DI optical fc-1 (I have a slight astigmatism and heard this was good for that), an acog ta44 w/ acss recticle. That last one is double the price of the others but if it’s worth it I’d be willing to pay for it. Any suggestions are welcome! Here’s how it looks at the moment: Attached File |

That a 13.5” barrel?

Anyone in here chopped and pinned a Surefire muzzle device – such as the Warcomp – onto their 17S? How do you like it?

Stolen Firearm: Colt AR15, Serial # SP342380, 16" carbine. Stolen in California by Kevin Ayres, and taken to Missouri.
|
I went back to the ugg boot and I feel a little less push with the gun. Plus, I’m paranoid about damage from the metal on metal contact of the KDG stock. Has anyone experienced that or am I worrying about nothing?
Attached File I picked up a 16 and a barrel separately for a pretty good price altogether and I gotta say, it’s a very nice shooting rifle. Almost feels like an airsoft gun. Attached File |
