That seems excessive to me.

Too high.

My local Cabelas had one for $350ish a few months back. It didn’t last long on the shelf.

There's a couple on gunbroker.
Watch 'em and see what they bring.

I just saw one advertised for over $1k. Dayum! That is expensive for what *I* think is an ugly stock. I was able to swap for a laminated 77/22 stock for mine, and I still smile. The boat paddle may be very functional, but I have to look at my guns too, and don't like them.

There goes another gun that I could have made a fortune on. I passed up on a 8" 38 Special Python, Colt AR-15 in 222, 9mm K frame S&W revolver, now boat paddle Ruger.

I’ve changed the stock of every Ruger 10/22 I’ve ever owned. More than likely I’ve gone through that one. Still ugly in my opinion.

I can't speak to the trigger weight but I can say that Fuqay Gun is good to go. They are about an hour drive for me and I make it a few times a year because their great to do business with. I'd say give them a call if the trigger weight gives you pause, might be a typo. The other option would be to put a take off factory trigger pack in for dirt cheap.

It isn't a rifle I am interested in.  I have three 10/22's in my safe.

I just noticed the trigger weight and thought it was very low.  Like "hair trigger" low.

I think Mil Spec Ar triggers are about 7 lbs and nicer ones are about 2-3 pounds.  I was just making a comment.  We are in GD, aren't we?

Edit  OOPs.  This is a tech forum .  Sorry

For that much money, you can buy two "regular" 10/22s.

This.  Other than nostalgia, the old 10/22s are in no way better

That is the exact model of my first 10/22. Always thought it was kind of ugly (especially the stock) but got it on closeout for $150 when a local sporting good store was going out of business but hell if I knew if was going to be a collectors item!
