I hate the ambi safety on my Gen 1 MPX and am ready to swap it out for a single side safety lever. Do regular AR safety levers fit and function fine?

Regular one will fit although I have not tried it on mine, I bought a Magpul grip and hitting the safety isn't a problem.

I changed to an elftmann push safety

I use the magpul ambi 45°.

I use the Radian Talon ambi. But they also make a milspec safety. High quality. Very smooth engagement. Check them out.
