My rcbs trim pro has been slipping and letting go of .223 brass. The brass starts spinning and walks out of the holder.
This is the universal case holder that has spring loaded "teeth" on either side

It still trims to the right length every time, it just doesn't want to hold the case

Take it apart and clean, check tension adjustment.

Mine came loose and needed tension readjusted to keep cases from spinning.

Yes this. Mine did something similar about 6 months ago I honestly can't remember exactly what it was but doing the disassembly and cleaning thing really made a difference and I now understand better how it functions.
