Anyone have any experience using an RMR on top of an ACOG for passive aiming? I have a ta33 on my 12.5” and really like it but want to be able to aim passively with this gun and am debating ordering an rm54 mount and installing either an SRO (if it will fit and not hit the turret cap from protruding forward) or a type 2 RMR.

From what I’ve found the height over bore would be even greater than something like the Unity Tactical mount with an Aimpoint t2 by about 3/4”.

Thanks for any input.

It works.

I have to pull my stock out all the way so my nods don't hit the acog though. But I'm using a ta31 do I have it basically as far back as it goes for eye relief. Ymmv

Works excellent for fast short range targeting, I have them on all my ACOGs, ELCANS, and even my FLIR T-50.

Works great, just gotta make sure to extend your stock so your NVGs aren’t crashing into the RMR. It’s pretty far to the rear on top of the ACOG. Here’s how it looks with the stock out only a couple notches:

Thanks for the info guys. Gonna give it a go. I have the ta33 much further out on the rail compared to that ta31's so extending the stock might not be as necessary.
