| Approval came in for my taupe NT4 that I got from Rooftop Defense, I haven't been able to post pictures from Imgur anymore. I've got three rifles with a Surefire 4 prong that house my RC2, I'll be replacing one of those with the supplied NTF flash hider and maybe another. |

How well does it play with the legacy gas system? They work well, Elvis. I know you were quoting jBoy's rig, just offering the experience I've had with my legacy guns too. I've found they really want to be bumped to an H buffer on 16" gassers. When Geno was making my armory grow with barrel/BCG/gas tube sets years ago, I ended up putting a bunch of E3 guns together using rifle URX3s and various manufacturer's receivers (Noveske, ADM, LMT, etc.) I ended up buying a bunch of tungsten buffer weights to tune them with, and to know that I had put a tungsten weight into the buffer, I put a blue bumper pad on to close up the assembly. You can see the ejection pattern here.   Those are 2 separate shots on target, and by virtue of when I pulled the trigger, you can see how fast the BCG is moving at extract/eject and where the spent case is in flight when the BCG goes back into battery. I hope this helps

I hope this helps Sorry for the late reply but will echo what M4ger stated with regards to both the Legacy SR15 and NT4 working well especially given the fact that I'm a lefty and have had my fair share of excessively gassed set ups in the past. I will say that I personally upgrade to an H2 buffer in all my rifles that will run suppressed and even without the NT4, the Legacy SR15 runs bulk 55gr just fine. |

I gotta quit looking at these threads. Ordered a taupe NT4 and a 7.62 QDC CQB that should deliver to my dealer tomorrow. Hopefully I can make it over and get the paperwork done soon to get the wait started. Last couple were a month or so and the absolute last one was something like a week on a trust with two RP's. I'll probably mount the NT4 on a legacy taupe SR15, although I think it'll eventually end up on an SBR I'm planning to get. Anyway, thanks to everyone who posted a pic in this thread for the inspiration I needed to keep my wallet from getting too heavy. |

Definitely top of the list for favorite cans in the collection.

Mine will have to share a black PRG with my Mod 2 for the time being but I did get this. Figured a 3d printed 3T would pair well with the 3d printed NT4. Not as cool as the OG tripple tap but the price was right, especially considering the only other mounting option is a basic A2 with a chunk cut out of it for $100+

| Thanks fellas. I'll do a historical video of it on my channel later this year. Of all my machine guns, this is my favorite. They say you should never meet your hero's, but that's not the case here. I always had a soft spot for MK18 mod 0's so I jumped on it when I had the opportunity. It is supposedly one of three in this configuration on the registry. It was actually manufactured by Colt in 2008, but it's fully transferable. The CEO level executive registered (by Colt) FA m16 serial numbers in 1985. 23 years later he told the production line to run the list of 1985 registered SN numbers and use A2 die stamps. The ATF let it slide because the guns never transferred out of the manufacture's name/factory, though I'm sure they weren't to happy about it. Its essentially an A2 marked, auto stamped (instead of burst) modern day spec M4 forged lower. |
