Just picked up a T/C 10-22

Threaded barrel.

Really like the ghost ring sight.

BHO makes it easy to run a bore snake through.

Grey Birch Solutions RDR with their Foundation Chassis

@nj0ywatch1np0rn
I can't find a whole lot of info on the manners 10/22 short of a WTS ad on SH. Does the manners have a way to secure the rear of the receiver to the stock?

Hi, mine doesn't have that option but Manners does have the option to put in the rear tang for Vol receivers but it's custom order.

@HimIOwe

It's from a Canadian company called Grey Birch Solutions.

The chassis is called The Foundation.

The receiver is their 10/22 based RDR. it's a red dot only set up with interchangeable mounting plates. Believe it to be a standard glock MOS plate. 12" grey birch carbon fiber barrel. Kidd two stage trigger.
Shield micro red dot.  I believe they are starting to ship to the states now.

The bolt has a thread in charging handle. So doesn't take drop in Ruger charging handles.  They had a few issues with the charging handles, originally aluminum and so have moved to steel now.

It's a pretty wicked little set up/chassis, albeit with a few little wiggles or bugs I think.

1) was supposed to come with a folding adapter. GBS delayed it until they worked out all the kinks, so they shipped a fixed stock adapter.
2) It doesn't quite works with that low red dot. I ended up flipping the stock adapter (the shiny bit between the stock and the chassis) upside down to get the cheek weld for that low red dot.
3) It has integral arca rail on the clamp on fore end, but if you have a picatinny rail up front at 6 o clock, you can't use the arca. depending on your tripod set up, you may not be able to use the 3 or 9 o clock rails either. Apparently they have a 8" forend coming.

The whole rig weighs around 4 or 5 pounds. The rear of the chassis is picatinny based, so you can use any of those types of stocks.  Has a threaded hole at the rear of the receiver to secure the trigger group.

Sadly, with the 12" barrel I won't be able to take advantage of the folding stock, as it'll fall under Canadian minimum length laws, but oh well.

Little Norinco I picked up a couple months ago, with a zeiss 2-7x33 on top. Came with a black synthetic stock, didn't like the all black-in-black look of the gun. Fortunately, I had some paint leftover from another project.
Also, I free-floated the barrel, when I got it the barrel was totally jammed into the stock.

I purchased this 10/22 yesterday for $250, just so I could get the receiver, since I don't know when Brownells will have their receiver back in stock.

The scope was a spare sitting in my tool box, but I plan on adding better glass later.

It took about an hour to get the old barrel out and install the new one (A bigger hammer helped).

Test firing went well, no malfunctions - it's very accurate.

It came in around $1000, but it would've been about $875-900 using the Brownells receiver.

Coated it in Magpul FDE Cerakote & x-22 stock this morning. Think I might have to upgrade the scope and trigger group next.

Your Norinco looks threaded.   I’d make that into a “compact”  16” cut/thread, front sight relocate, stock shortening project.

My second Ruger 10/22 (1994 model) with heavy contour barrel, replaced the old Butler Creek stock with Magpul Hunter X-22 OD green stock.

Magpul Hunter X-22 stock installed.

My other first 10/22 bought new in 1970 I still have and still factory configuration only with a Weaver 2-7X scope.

I’m loving these minimalist rifles!  Low cost, low weight, great trigger and accuracy, threaded from the factory.  My only complaint is savages shitty factory mags.  22lr in green and 22mag in brown.
