Maybe a few magazines with it folded. It handles like a PGO 20ga. The paracord wrap is there for a reason. It made it much more comfortable to shoot. Unwrapped it was pretty rough and left a few marks. I have another one of these stocks ready to go on another M1A. Just haven’t used it yet. |

Picked up a Tanker a couple weeks back. The wood is in great shape and I knew this was going to be a South Texas hog gun so I actually pulled it and dropped the action in the Archangel. Added an SA scope mount for the 1-8. Going to tung oil the wood and then wrap it and stack it on the shelf. Attached File |

It’s an original SA “Bush Rifle” that came from the factory with the folder. I’d like to know about that folder set up as well. |

Hadn’t been following along The folding stock is a SIG side folder for an MCX The front half is a Vltor, and the part making them work together is made by stormwerkz, made to my request. They sell it on their website now as a standard item.    As you can see it does retain the height adjustability of the original stock setup. It fits perfectly too. You’d think that Vltor made the whole thing. Years ago I asked Vltor to make this as an option and I was told by the company they had zero interest or intent in doing this. So I found a company that was. The part made by stormwerks is beautifully done. The above photos show it prior to anodizing. Now keep in mind this wasn’t cheap to put it all together. I've got the second gen stock, so it will definitely be slightly different than your first gen. I ordered the insert, and I'll be ordering one of the stocks soon. Got my daughter's first college installment for her last semester coming up, and then after that I'll grab the stock for the SOCOM. Now I'll be able to get my SOCOM down closer to the OAL of my G3K, which is going to make choosing which rifle goes in the truck on road trips a little harder. Thanks for the info again. |

Just picked up my first M1A. Springfield Loaded National Match. The 1907 leather sling and SA receiver scope mount are on the way. My old eyes have difficulty seeing the front sight and this one will probably end up wearing either a USO 2-12 or Razor LPVO that are currently on rifles that I don’t use very often. The DSA FAL is one of my favorites and I hope the M1A shoots as well Attached File Now with the Razor 3-15 Attached File |
