This may be a stupid question but do I need a power box for Reolink POE cameras?

No. Just run an ethernet cable from the Reolink box to the camera The cable will provide both the data feed and power. That assumes your Reolink system is POE but I think they all are

I can't see any reason why.

Every POE powered Cam, Phone, Subscriber module or other that I have seen has got its power from either a POE Switch, a POE injector or an NVR that has POE ports on it.

The concept of Power Over Ethernet is pretty cool.
Why run separate power, video and audio cabled from a Cam back to the NVR when you can just use a single Cat5/6/x...
