I really, really like Griffin Armament's tapered mounts, and I'm really considering their EXPLORR in .30 caliber for a (mostly) dedicated .308 AR can. It's relatively light for the the materials and I'm not going to quibble over a couple ounces for the price difference. Any feedback on that model? Thanks! ROCK6 |

I have one, as above adjustable gas block a must as it is with traditional baffled cans. I went with the taper mount non hub version, it stays on my 12.5. I also have the Polo 30, it's better on longer hosts. Sound wise similar. But back pressure was higher on Polo and easier tuned on longer gas system. I got a great deal on Explorr Black Friday 2024 which is exactly the reason I got it and that it was available in FDE. ETA: polo 30 with Ecco Plan A long Attached File |

Great feedback! Yeah, my AR10 (POF) has an adjustable gas block. I did run a SilencerCo Omega 46M on it and didn't need to adjust the gas, but I do have that option if I need to tune it. I'm also to the point I just want to get a dedicated can for it and not bounce them around and deal with tuning everytime. ROCK6 |

I have the Explorr 300 (taper mount) that mostly lives on my Aero M5, 18" with adjustable gas block. I also use it with my Savage 10T bolt .308, and just installed a taper brake on my 6.8 to be able use it there but haven't shot it yet. I am very happy with it, the can is noticeably lighter than my Recce5 and the backpressure is different when tested on my AR15 (had to adjust the gas block a bit for reliability and then set it back for the Recce). I don't own another 30cal can yet to compare with but I am happy, others at the range have asked about it and noted it sounded great. I am interested in the Enticer S as a dedicated can for my bolt .308, but would not hesitate to buy another Explorr 300. |

I have one that lives on as 8.3 inch 300blk. It has been shot on my 11.5 556 are and my 6.5 CM bolt gun. It works, is not too heavy but I think it gives up some suppression on the 6.5 CM with gas volume. Mine is a hub mount, it did piss me off that the hub mount model cost more. |

I think it’s a fantastic can. Extremely lightweight and quiet for its size I’ve shot it on short barreled 5.56, & 16” 6ARC and 16” Bolt gun .308 I want the 5.56 version it did so well for me. It’s basically the same dimensions as my AAC Mini-4 save for the taper mount portion and 5oz lighter yet is significantly better at suppression and back pressure Dead Air LT vs Explorr .30 https://imgur.com/a/OFAN8QQ#7cekKdB Explorr vs Mini4 https://imgur.com/a/OFAN8QQ#EHQUrxC |
