Put a deposit down on a 44 mag Vaquero...has what appears to be a Hogue finger groove grip, checkered, front 'rest' at the bottom.

As usual, the finger grooves don't fit my fat, stubby digits.  But the gun is cheap given today's market.

So, it's a replacement grip (and see if there's any market for the old grip) is needed.

However, I thought I'd see what it might require to convert to a bisley grip grame?

Economical or not?

(7.5", stainless model).

Thanks!

I love the look of the Bisley , and bought Ruger in .44 mag.

I have big hands, and every time I shot the thing the trigger guard whacked the bone on my middle finger, no matter how tight my grip.

Beautiful gun, no fun for me to shoot, one of the few I’ve ever sold.

At least I made $100 on it.

I’d try to shoot one before you spend time and effort and money trying to convert it.
