Classic Arms - M1A Mags They don't say but call and ask who makes them. If they say Checkmate, you are good to go. ETA> These are the Promags at Classic Arms: M1A By Promag at Classic Arms So the first listing is probably Checkmate, but ask anyway. |

Check one of your local online auctions. They usually have a separate section for guns/knives. I've scored USGI M14 mags for around $10-$15 each. A lot of times in the double mag pouch. I have around 26-27 mags right now.
Same with FAL mags. I've had plenty since the happy days of cheap imported stuff. But I still pick them up at auction if the price doesn't go past $15 per mag. Picked up ammo the same way. Scored 8 50rd boxes of Sellier and Bellot 10mm with 6 20rd boxes of Remington .303 British for $80 for all of it. |

IF you don't you can afford to wait for the $5-$10 deals. Pretty soon you'll be like one of those guys posting threads that are asking where all the $99 Mosin's went....  |
