I've had a few really nice looking Mauser rifles.  My favorite (that I own) is this Venezuelan.  FN made some really beautiful rifles/firearms.  Below are some older photos of the rifle.

South American Mauser were the finest in my opinion.

That's definitely a beauty.

I was always partial to the Swedish Mausers.

I really like the carbine version.  The pristine rifles with matching bayonets and target are very nice too.

Very nice FN.  Are the Venezuelan ones 7mm?

This one is. I think all were originally chambered in 7mm.  Not sure if any were later converted to other calibers like some of the other SA Mausers.

Beautiful, OP

I've always thought Argentinian Mausers had some of the most gorgeous wood, often custom hunting rifle quality.

In the 1990s, I had a Venezuelan Mauser for a short time in .30/06.  Had seen a lot of use, but beautiful bluing under the handguard.   Was an accurate rifle.  I even paid a gunsmith to install a receiver sight.  Took it to a gun a gun show.  A fellow saw the receiver sight and didn't even haggle when I gave him my price.

The Mauser Standard Modell was very nice. Unfortunately examples in good condition are hard to come by.

I just picked up a Venezuelan Mauser.  I guess it is the model 30.  I had some trouble finding information about it online.  It is the best military Mauser that I've handled.  I've seen some very nice 98 action hunting rifles, but as far as milsurp, this one is my favorite.  Honestly, anything from FN seems to be top notch.
