Have a new Triarc 12.5 attack 2.0 5.56 mid length barrel on the way. Will be mainly used suppressed. They have no info on the gas port size and have not responded back to that question. Any one know the gas port size on the newer barrels? Also any info from you guys that have the BRT gas tubes for suppressed short barrel rifles. Any info would be great. First sbr and suppressor larger than rimfire. Haven’t decided on the suppressor yet either. A 30 cal can for multiple calibers or a dedicated 5.56 can??? Thanks guys. Dave

Absolutely fill us in. I have a 14.5" 2.0 and it's gassed on the light side. I'd probably be a buyer for a 12.5 middy. BRT tibes work. I have a couple, but wait and see if you need it. I'm guessing you won't. Finally, can... I'd probably start with a .30. I went .556 and now have to buy a .30. You might think you don't need a .30, but things like 300bo sneak up on you and then you're left with a 5.56 can that's not going to work. Just my thoughts. Something like the griffin exprror in .30 would be reasonably light and give you options down the road.

This was Nick's response to me a year ago: "The gas port on the 16" is .070 and the 12.5 is .078"

I do have a BRT tube on my 12.5" Geissele barrel which is carbine gas. Gas block and BCG are also Geissele and the buffer is their Super 42 w/H2. I selected the .0635 tube which is supposed to be equivalent to a .0615 gas port. Gun functions with 5.56 ammo without my YHM Turbo K even in 34  temps and runs nicely with the can on. Still a touch gassy if I shoot several rounds quickly, but not bad at all.
