Welp, instead of building one I went on let go and found this beauty for $40.

Made in American and solid as a tank.

Just gotta get it into the reloading room.

Someone show me a 50 year old liberal inspired chinese manufactured steel desk!!!!!

Awesome! But yeah, installation good be a bitch.

When I shut down my warehouse I discovered my heart attack didn't completely limit me. I had to dismantle a steel packing table then reassemble it in a much smaller space. I'm so glad I didn't ask for help, just tightened my belt and went at it!

Use a Dillon Strong Mount or similar mounting system and run the bolts so the shanks are up and you should have no problem using the drawers.

Ideally, you want to use countersunk bolts.

You may consider putting a piece of 3/4 plywood on top,  aluminum plate would be better, you could drill and tap it for your presses

I have that model/vintage in my office it has to be 40+ old

It has outlasted several Chinise made desks others offices

Yup. Have a strong mount and will also utilize a 2x10 under the stong mount.

I'm getting everything in place, pre mounting,  while it's in garage before moving.

Already mounted my single stage for 30-06

Mock set up. Need to cut some 2x10

Edit. Just locked her down. Not sure I need 2x10 under the strong mount.

Hmmmmm?

It looks like it’s set back rather far from the front edge.

When you put the handle on make sure it has full travel and doesn’t hit the desk before it goes full stroke.

It's good... now... lol. You're right, first set up it was set back about 2 inches to far.

All good now.

i will add the 2x10 under the stong mount next and it should be good to go.

When I used a desk, I mounted everything to a 2x14 piece of wood that ran across the front of the desk and was clamped on each end to the top.
Use countersunk "T" nuts from the bottom side of the board to mount everything.
Easy to bump it forward to get a bit of overhang/clearance if needed.
Unclamp to clear the desk when needed.
