I was surfing Griffins site last night before bed and noticed two new muzzle devices and in the description it mentions compatibility with EXPLORR ?

In another thread they said they have a bunch of new stuff ready to release but haven't gotten around to it because of dealing with stupid internet sales tax stuff.

I thought they had two .338 cans in the past. We need a larger .338 market. That being said, I'm too poor for a lapua View Quote They have the 338 sportsman, but I worry about it being aluminum and the firing schedule, but I may be worried over nothing. |

I feel like the pre buzz on the NFA stuff has been a bit slow this year. With the shutdown and the NFA being affected by that maybe the manufacturers aren't wanting to hype the new stuff any sooner than they have to.

I'd dedicate my recce 7 to a bolt gun, at that point. Looking for a short, lightweight can to take the edge off of my hunting rig. Not wanting a super quiet tank. Currently I have a TBAC ultra 5 in mind, but would prefer to go with the Griffin minimalist mount since I already have a bunch of them. |

5oz would be super aggressive weight savings while trying to maintain durability View Quote |

I understand. But, I'm just looking for a hunting can. Maybe it doesn't need to be in the recce line, but I'm sure they could find somewhere in their lineup for a can like that. Again, I'm looking for something to compete with the TBAC ultra 5. View Quote |

Have you considered the Palidan? i freaking love mine, it's become my most used can. View Quote Quoted:
You're saying the Sportsman isn't a good fit for you? View Quote Currently have it narrowed down to the TBAC ultra 5 and rugged micro 30. Edit: I should add that the can will be mounted to a 16" Grendel build that weighs 6lb 2oz with optic. So going for the shortest and lightest I reasonably can. |

While I understand his stuff is good, he's also an arrogant ass who claims all the credit for himself and thinks nothing is better than his. And if anyone comes forward with claims that it is he throws back that they don't know how to get decibel readings or have incorrect equipment.
You really should read the welding titanium thread. According to him all of the AAC designs were his and it was him alone that got all the military contracts blah blah blah |
