Looks like you can add me to the list of FBI BGC black hole victims.
There is another man in another part of the country with the same first, middle and last name as me. We were also born on the same day. What are the odds of that?! Anyway, he has an extensive criminal record that has caused me headaches over the years. I wonder if this is somehow related. |

Called today, only talked to the receptionist
my 2 Feb26 pending are FBI pending now, no date given, left voicemails with both examiners so these don't get stuck in another 12mo blackhole. my Mar29 is not FBI pending yet my Jul23 hasn't even been entered in the system so she transferred me to a specialist beacuse it should have been in Fuck the NFA |

After reading this thread I decided to take further action. I have two Form 4s that have been over a year. I emailed a POC at the NFA branch on Monday. He emailed back saying they are both now approved. I have no idea if they were just backlogged or they fell through the cracks. In either case, next week I will have my cans

As many of us have said (and experienced here) - if you're in this status you need to contact your reps.
It gets the FBI and ATF moving most rikki tik. In my case, the FBI "completed" my check the day they were contacted and within 2 weeks I had my stamps. They know they're fucking up. |

Mine hasn't been forever or anything yet, but I called last week and was told it was "pending."
I probably missed it, but how do you find out if your approval is just simply "pending" vs "FBI pending" when you call? |

My 6 items that were submitted in Sep & Oct of last year and were stuck in FBI since February have all finally been put through and approved.
I have another 2 items that were submitted in March 18 and have been in FBI since 10/1 (possibly earlier, that's just the first time I called and got that status) I have another 9 items I need to submit and am pretty frustrated that this is happening still. I finally just wrote my representative (last Republican in the state) and asked fo help. I'll post an update here if I hear back from his office and if they're able to do anything. Glad to hear others are having luck with this route. It is election season though so it might be hard to get a response from them. |

Ted Clutter has been a tremendous help in the past with several Form 4s with various issues. I’ve discussed the issue of other forms in “FBI background check” status, and there is nothing he can do about that situation. No point in bothering him about that stuff.
