Are you using the Delta Point through your NVGs?  I didn't think they were NV compatible.

I'd like to second that.

I'd have to eat box for a month straight just to condition before setting that on me melon.

Home cerakote job. Took about 11-12 hours of painting, baking, and applying stencils.

Since this is a picture thread, here’s my loaner setup.

Lightweight Anvis 9 rig. Becoming my favorite. Highly recommend the AI SAM for the F4949. No FTO function but the plunger engages smooth and it locks the goggle solid.

Where should I get a set of the arc rail adapter kit for my hearing protection? I see a lot of Chinese knock offs on amazon and eBay. I’ve got a pair of green Howard leights and peltor range guards.

Question: Can the behind the neck band version of the COMTAC III hearing defenders be used for helmet conversion with the Unity Tactical MARK kit? Wasn't sure if the neck band version worked the same as the head band version.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks.

Found answer edit, in case anyone else ever wonders:  They can indeed be converted, but you would need to source the standard style attachment stems from Peltor to make it interface.

I'm going to just use the 3M ARC adapters.

Trying to keep up with the Joneses is tiresome but I also want to make it to night #2 during the great booger luge, I am led to believe those without fusion will be "Kilt in the streets"

Photonis PVS14 on Norotos INVG/DDA with TACS COTI, Ops Core "Skull crusher" mount. EOG counterweight.

How are you guys lanyarding your NVG's and COTI's together? I want to be able to add and remove the COTI while generally keeping my 14 attached to the helmet all night

How comfy is that Skullcrusher?

I like running my Nightcap on hot / humid Alabama nights (for obvious reasons), but would like to know if the unit in your photos would be a better alternative.

And yes, without fusion you will die. It's science.

I highly recommend it. It has 3 boa type dials, one on the rear like an ops/tw helmet and two more on top. More dials = more comfort(science), this thing is highly adjustable.

It breaths about as well as the night cap but it doesn't stuff down into a cargo pocket like the night cap. It does have some built in ARC rails so you can wear ear protection and/or add an admin light.

Here’s my poor person setup:

PRG P-14 gen2+ monocular
Team Hillary LTP Exfil
Norotos Rhino II
Cheap Ops-Core cover off ebay

Still need a counterweight, ear muff mounts and I want to covert to a dovetail setup but so far I like it.

Very similar to my 1st setup. The $15 counter weight (bar type) pouches from amazon work fine with it although you might need to sew a little patch of Velcro on it to extend the tabs to reach the screw down points.  I wouldn’t even bother getting the kind that comes with the weights. Weights are steel and will rust. I ended up throwing in a little baggie of lead shot wrapped in gaffer tape for reenforcement. I dialed in the weight precisely to what I needed to balance the pvs14. Using a baggie of the shot let’s you spread the weight out a bit and I even have room for a couple batteries in the pouch.

For my use, there is no penalty for using IR when ambient isn't enough (less than 1/4 Moon or thick overhead cover) - so I love them. One is an OG ($699), the other is a Sport ($359) - Identical except for some non-NV options. Both Cerakote-C'd  with Magpul OD color code. If a 1064nm, laser based (ie, stable) illuminator ever materializes, I'll be even happier - some guys are messing with 980nm currently.
