Similar process. #1 the Dealer should inform the ATF of them Closing, and a list of all the Class III items that are Form 4'd. #2 The ATF will pull all the forms and fast track them. ( My most recent move this took 2-3 weeks to get them all cleared.) #3. Your dealer will call and have you come pick up item. The dealer gets the approved form as before. You pick it up. If the dealer is totally out of business, they just hand over the gun and the approved paperwork. If they've let their SOT lapse, they do a 4473 and hand over the gun and the paper. |
