Very cool. Does it use the standard magazines? It looks like it does not.

ETA: Also, what kind of suppressor is that?

If that's the .45 version, all you need now is the Joey Keychain and a 1911 Drum. :)
Link Posted: 6/7/2018 5:30:16 PM EDT
How much it cost?
Do you have any of the few funky Red Ball 20rd mags to try out?

Two fiddy

I dont have any of the red balls.

Here’s mine. I got it in 9 mm FDE. Initially fitting was very tight. I greased the rails and now it comes apart much easier. Have not had a chance to shoot it yet. OEM and Redball mags fit and drop free.Attachment Attached File

Nice guys im very jealous i'm hoping they call me for my wait list shipping notification soon!

This stock makes for a very aesthetically pleasing firearm. It's a shame that it can't be modded for Glock or some other common high capacity mags...that would justify the cost and keep Hi-Point in business for the next few years.

The magwel for the hi point is the limiter.

That is actually really sharp looking. I may need a new stock for my 995 in the near future.

The TS 4595 has a third party mod to accept 1911 mags, including drums.

I’ve always thought the ATI stock does a lot to improve the aesthetics, but this really kicks it up a notch. Very nice!

In for the range report!
Link Posted: 6/8/2018 8:24:09 AM EDT
Holy shit, they are out!?

Damn, need to buy me one, even if it will take some time for waiting period.
Link Posted: 6/8/2018 9:15:33 AM EDT
Well shit. Now I'm going to have to buy a hi-point carbine.

I had one years and years ago - but this thing looks pretty cool.
Link Posted: 6/8/2018 2:08:06 PM EDT
Just FYI, they don't show available on the HTA site yet. HTA is emailing those who've been on the waiting list and say they won't be generally available til they run thru the list.

I think I signed up over a year ago and haven't gotten an evite yet, hopefully soon. No one's saying exactly how long that list is, or how long it may take.

HTA also responded to a thread in the HP forum and gave some pointers for installation.

I want to pick one up for a 10mm and hack it up to fit glock mags...
(Yes I know what that would take on the receiver/linkage)
Think there is enough meat in the stock to support a Glock mag?

They built into the stock the ability for them to potentially develop and release double stack magazines.

Just a reminder:

Hey everyone, it looks like High Tower is close to releasing their bull pup conversion stock for our carbines, as a reminder Hi-Point Firearms is not affiliated with High Tower Armory, LLC

Please do not call or e-mail us with questions regarding this stock.

We do not know when the release date on this stock is (we are no different than everyone else). We have not tested any production or pre-production samples of the stock so we can not diagnose any malfunctions. At this time we will not warranty any damages that may result from its use.

Perhaps in the future we will have a chance to test the stock, when we do we will let everyone know our findings.

Thank you everyone, have a great day and a wonderful weekend.

Another thing that would keep the order books filled for a while. I hope they can do it.

Looks great!

I hope this is a beginning of a trend - would love to see a Bullpup conversion stock for the Ruger PC carbine as HTA's next project.

If they figured out how to take name brand magazines I would be all over it.

Nothing there about this stock and accepting name brand magazines(double stack glock/m&p,etc)

This thread is about this stock.

... And you think i the bullpup stock doesn't use the original HP 4595 mags? The 9mm one pictured shows a HP TS995 mag in the mag well.

If you pull out the mag catch hole on a 1911 mag a bit on one side, the 4595 will work with it. The third party mag catch allows you to use unmodified 1911 mags, up to and including drums.

A few more observations on this stock. It’s not light all together it feels about 6 -7 pounds. The trigger is adjustable to remove some take up and over travel but trigger is still creepy. My trigger breaks at 5 lbs 10 oz. The frame is very tight when fitted together but is loosening a bit over time. It is also not just a simple shell but has a spring loaded internal buffer in the rear to cushion the recoil of the bolt. The original Hipoint does the same thing with the springs in the buttplate. Prior Hipoint stock conversions did not have this feature. It will be interesting to see if Hipoint will approve of this design or say the warranty is voided like with the ATI stock. A lot of thought went into this design.

A double stack mag would make it much more appealing. The 1911 mag thing isn’t that appealing to me either since they are large and bulky and expensive for relatively low capacity given their bulk.

Are they planning on doing something similar for the ruger pcc?

mines a single shot right now. I need to pull it apart and figure out what’s going on.
Link Posted: 6/10/2018 10:23:38 AM EDT
I ordered the FDE in 9mm and its arriving tomorrow. 2 days after ordering! HTA is not messing around. They know we have been waiting for this.
Link Posted: 6/10/2018 10:35:19 AM EDT
I like it. I just bought a 4595 last year. I wonder how easily this new design is to field strip and clean? Hope its simple. Plastic doesn't hold up so well over time.

Too bad Hi Point didn't make a gun that looked like that from the get go, they would have sold thousands more.

To be clear, the ThingMeister mag catch won't work with the HighTower stock; HighTower promised 1911 mag capability, but it's not certain that made it into the final product.

Possibly due to their plans to try to make a future double stack, they're not using the HiPoint mag catch - so the ThingMeister isn't a direct replacement.

The new 20 rnd RedBall .45 mags are coffin-type double stacks, indicating that what HighTower is envisioning may be possible.

Not ridiculously expensive either. I wonder if they will redo their 9mm ones like that eventually.
