Looking to mount a vortex Strike Fire, Red/Green dot on a scout squad, I know I going to lose the Cantilever mount........what ring should I use? thanx!

Vortex makes a low ring for it, you may still need a cheek riser to sight though.  Main problem is the height of the Springfield scout mount.

I have that RDS on an ARMS 18 Swan Mount on my M1A with an ADM 30mm Low Mount holding it on the rail. I frickin' love the ADM mounts. Whether you're going to mount it over the receiver or above the barrel, if you want something removable and still super low, that's my recommendation.
