I got a smoking deal on a M1A loaded new for $999.99. It is extremely hard to find any new or used M1A scouts that are priced under $1800 in Ca. In reality I’d prefer a scout length rifle. Is there a market for a new Unfired loaded stainless Springfield armory barrel? What would the price be?

Have you found a short barrel?

You could probably find a buyer at $100. I wouldn't pay $100, if I'm going to the trouble to swap, I'll make it worthwhile.
