Hey guys, I received my stamp after e-filing in about 30 days.  Now it's time to convert the pistol buffer system.  I have a newer DD setup with the regular gas port size.  I'm looking for opinions on a buffer setup.  I've been debating between trying the a5 system vs a regular milspec buffer with a blue sprinco and maybe h2 buffer.  I'm open to input on which direction to go and what buffer weight, etc specifically.  Thanks

FWIW if you buy a factory DD mk18 sbr it comes with a H1.

I run mine suppressed so I use a H2, but it works fine unsuppressed with the H2 as well.

Personally I've found the sweet spot to be an H2 buffer + Sprinco Blue spring. 10.3" DD CHF with FSGB.

I shoot unsuppressed because my state doesn't allow cans. (#repealthenfa)

This. I have actually found this to work the best with all my carbine gas rifles, SBR or not.

On my 10.3 URGI I just got, the included Super 42 also seems to run extremely well.

A friend of mine owns a company called cozad manufacturing.   He has hydraulic buffers that are amazing.  His H2 is really nice in a 10.3

How is it running with your current setup? Is there a need to change it?
