Typically I see rails added to the top cover by tapping it..

I saw a pic railed block that replaced the rear leaf sight.
I was hoping you found a source for optic mount blocks for the lafette mount. |

Be aware it fits a true MG3 top cover, the stamoings on other MG42 top covers are slightly different and the rail will require fitting Sven Manticore Arms |
