Anyone know where I can get a registered AR -15 lower repaired?  There is a crack around the sear hole and it will need to be rewelded and machined.

Thanks

Also call up US Anodizing. They did repair work on my lower. Not sure if they can do welding but I know they do milling as that's what I had done.

This is more about welding skills than gunsmithing skills. Find a skilled Aluminum welder. Then get the sear hole jig and finish it yourself.

While i agree, I'd send it to a gunsmith/welder (like m60joe)
Unless you know the welder has tye skill and understands the value....
Id either do it myself or send it to m60joe... so ya m60joe

He did mines and it came out great.

Send it to him with ease and no worries but do take great care on the shipping.

Never in my life did I fret and worry when shipping it to him.

Sending my SP1 conversion to him soon - he said he is off until Spring so waiting a little longer before reaching out again.

Conversion pretty sloppy, likely with a hand drill. needs to be plugged and redrilled
