I have a pretty decent stable of 30 cal cans. Omega 300, Scythe, Resilient Jolene and Ultra5. I'd like to get a good low back pressure 30 cal can. Preferably not a pig, I like lighter weight cans. I like SilencerCo cans but the Velos seems a bit porky at 16.5 ounces. I really like my Griffin Explorr 223, and right now I'm leaning towards the Explorr 30 cal. but wanting to see what else others have their eyes on.

At 8.8 oz, I would think the CAT ODB in Ti might be an option, but that comes with the fact that they’re still a relatively unknown product, wack marketing, and a bit pricey. But it seems like it would check the boxes if you’re willing to take the gamble on it.

I have 2 of the new Rex Ultra Low Back Pressure 308 cans on order. Might be an option for you.

I’d imagine it’s on the extreme fringe of acceptability being only 4.9” |

I have the older Vox-K which is 4.4" in direct thread. I'm not going to say it's a quiet suppressor, but it takes the edge off and is only about 1.5" longer than the original flash hider. It's also full auto rated which was important for my use. 6.8 pushes you around a bit more than 5.56 at 1k RPM but it's still controllable with good stance.

I’ll hopefully have an explorr 300 out in a week or two. I know they have Ecco flow baffles but I don’t think I would consider it a low back pressure can.
I’ll suggest a Hyperion k or PTR vent but I have never shot or heard one. |

@AndrewKing (OCL) is coming out with a low backpressure .30 can at some point this year called the Infinity I believe.

Yes, the Vox K and now K2 are really designed to take the extreme edge off; not be whisper quiet. What you gain is an incredibly compact suppressor that is light and designed for maximum maneuverability in close quarter confined spaces. K arl Edminster Edge Taker Offer Energetic Armament |

Or go with an EA Lux. More than the Vox but much lighter.
