I think this a good a place as any to ask about this subject. I have some interest in learning picking and getting some tools or practice equipment. Tinkering with mechanical things interests me. It seems like it might be an interesting and maybe useful hobby. Any one have suggestions on tools and practice locks? I have seen sparrows and I think covert gear? I’m looking for some first hand experience.

I like Sparrows for tension wrenches and some of their practice locks. My favorite picks are Think Peterson.
Be careful, like most things it’s and addiction that grows.
