Makes me sick. I found this knife that was my dad's in a tool box that had been outside and leaked. I have a local guy that can do the stacked leather washers. This puc is after I let it sit in some rust remover. Knife dude didn't sound like he could restore the blade very much. So i am going to spend all the time I need sanding it down to 1500 or 2000 grit and buffing. Then have him restore the handle. I will try to document my restoration here.

I also wouldn't mind seeing a few steps along the way.

Probably not cost effective financially but hard to put a price on sentimental items.
