For what it's worth, there are plenty of .mil SR25s that don't match either and I agree with whomever said it earlier - they look cool when shit isn't match perfectly anyway.
Here is an example below. And on an unrelated note, I'm trying to figure out what the hell this upper is? Is it a shorty 6.5CM or 7.62? Whatever it is, it looks like a standard M110 lower and they threw a shorty upper on it - just can't discern from the picture whether this is one of the 6.5CM uppers or just a 7.62? It looks to be a 14.5" upper though? Looks just a tad too short to be 16", but I could be wrong. Attached File |

Interesting. Thanks for setting me straight.
Always been hard to keep the iterations straight but innovation and evolution is a key part of KAC! |

The 14.5" rifles would have 7 MLOK slots. |

Was the PVS-4 ever used on the M110? If so does anyone have pics of it? I just picked up a PVS-4 in a trade and I am looking for a reason to keep it, NV isnt really my cup of tea but I thought it may be cool to have to throw on the M110 occasionally.

View Quote I'd venture to say that the PVS-4 was waaaay too "ancient" tech to be used on a 110 but I suppose some unit could have had one stuffed away in the corner of the arms room and got pressed into service. |

As a follow up to this, the Mil-XT provides a much cleaner mil-tree style reticle over anything Horus is offering these days. I don't use it for holdovers as much as I do for corrections for ensuing shots (I prefer to dial for elevation vs. holdover). I used to shoot tremor, but the more I've developed as a shooter the more I realized I was not a "wind dot minded" person. I much prefer wind/gun numbers over Hodnett's dot/tremor system. I like the simple dot in the center of the reticle and the alternating hash marks (in .2mil increments) on the main lines, none of which clutters the target. |
