I love URX3 handguards, and after getting the final pieces of my Lunchbox, I am finding myself in possession of an extra LMT 308 buffer tube and BCG. I could easily see them turn into another gun, and something like you have provides me a bit of direction. |

5 years ago, today, at my old home, my SR-25 Lunchbox project began. I'd received the 1st of 3 shipments. I composed it with my only other Vero Beach KAC rifle, which was a partially accurate facsimile of the Christmas Cheer v1 rifle. Attached File Today, both of them are pictured. Attached File 2 sandcutter carriers. SOPMOD stocks The grips have swapped. One is factory dimpled, the other is Marvin dimpled. They both have scalloped selectors. I am on the hunt for a dimpled castle nut, because that would look perfect on the Lunchbox. I am very fortunate to have been a part of this endeavor, and KAC and III are some of the finest people in this industry. Being able to add this under stewardship is quite a blessing. |

 My latest additions, and first KACs. The bottom one is unfired, the top one only has about 50 rounds through it. Leupold MK4 10x, and the owner sent it off to Premier Reticle to have the reticle swapped out to a mil-dot one of his choice. I'm thinking about swapping the barrel and brass deflector up to the top one so it's got all the features along with the blueish anodizing. Maybe one day I'll find another period-correct scope to put on the bottom one, too. Is there anyone that would make me a clone correct suppressor? It seems like the original cans that attached to the threaded gas block are unobtanium. |

I recently purchased these 4 old KAC NT4 flash hiders from a friend who gets some great military surplus items. I've owned dozens of NT4 flash hiders over the years, but these are new to me. In the photos below, the 2 on the left are dated 12/99 and the 2 on the right have a dash next to the wrench flat. The 12/99 is obviously December 1999 on the 2 flash hiders, but I have no idea if there's any significance to the dash by the wrench flat on the other 2 flash hiders. Has anyone else ever seen these examples of KAC NT4 flash hiders? I'd imagine that they're pretty rare, I've never even seen them discussed before. When were the NT4 flash hiders first developed? Could these be extremely early production? I hope someone here can shine some light on the history of these unique examples of KAC NT4 flash hiders. Please post some info here if you have any, thanks!     |

I just picked up my MCQ today. Top is my department-owned KS-3 with the full size PRT. The bottom is my personal Mod 2. I am definitely going to have to figure out how I want to attack the fitment of the MCQ on the Mod 2. Not sure if I'm going to try and shim or wait for the new device that allows for the PRT use with URX4. Probably the latter. Upgrading to the URX6 is not really an option, as this gun is older and does not have the notched upper receiver. Attached File Attached File |

The short collar still has the lugs for use with the suppressor shroud, correct? I've heard it does, I've just never seen one. If it does, that is the route I need to go. |
