Nice. Thought about getting one or their top of the line but decided to get 2 OK 14s for duals.
You'll want 2/binos after about 8.7 weeks. Unless you don't use NV that much |

I'd suggest grabbing a Crye Nightcap as well -- it's about the best non-helmet way of hanging NODs off your face, and works a treat under snivel gear.

I've got an OpsCore and a nightcap and I use both quite frequently. |

A second on the night cap, I keep a PVS-14 and a night cap in a pelican 1150 case with my bugout bag. In case I have to ditch the truck and walk home from work. I work on a military post, so the chances are likely I won't be able to leave during daylight hours. I'd have to sneak out under cover of darkness. I have a good setup for the -14 too. In the case, I have the nightcap, J-Arm, Rhino 2, a weapon mount, J-Arm, shuttered eyecup, regular eyecup. I keep the 14 in an Envis Case that holds 4 AA batteries. The Envis Case is perfect for the -14. |

Very impressed with the less than 4 month turn around time! Granted it's GP not WP but still I couldn't be more excited. |

Ended up with a pretty decent unit Photocathode sensitivity- 2580 EBI- 1.5 SnR- 30.9 FOM- 1977 Minimal blemishes that aren't distracting. It's fun inside with the lights out but the real fun will be in September when the sun finally goes down! Attached File |

Everyone seems to be going with WP but I am extremely happy with my new GP unit from TNVC. I did not request any minimum specs but still received a pretty good unit. Maybe if you ask @TNVC_Will nicely he might be able to give you a scheduled build date. Back in March he gave me a scheduled build date and sure enough it shipped the same day he said it was scheduled to be built. I ordered a TF GP and asked for no min specs so if you ordered a higher demand WP unit you might have different results than I did. |

I ordered mine around the end of January along with Ops Core, mount, Steiner IR. I have everything except the unit. Can’t wait!
Edit: I have had a Gen2 D-300 for about 15 years. Still works well but after I took a look thru my nephews PVS-14, it was just a matter of time before I had to upgrade. |

As I recall, the majority of the Gen 2 tubes were purchased by a certain middle eastern country which made the price of the D300 jump up. I bought mine before that happened. It has performed pretty well and I’ve never had a problem out of it at all! But I’m looking forward to the Gen 3. I’ve got several of my carbine setups ready to go. Again, thanks TNVC! You guys are awesome. When I ordered, I spoke with Will and he took the time to answer all my questions and was very helpful. I’m in sales myself so that was very much appreciated. |

Thanks for the continued trust with our gear and the kind words. The D300 at that time were using Russian and German tubes. I do remember the price then going up exponentially when the other entiy brought them up. User (spelling) Harwklin probably knows that time line and more info. At the time the D300 was around $800 bones at that point. Times sure changed.. |

I don’t really plan on using an aiming device at first. I have a thermal scope and scanner. My main purpose with the nod is for navigation while hunting . I’m currently researching helmets and mounts. Maybe going with a night cap and or a bump helmet to start.
