So I was in my local shop and happened to see a Barrett M95

I had been thinking I needed a 50 since everyone in the news keeps saying how “nobody needs a 50 cal”

It’s made in Murfreesboro,TN which is where my late father used to live and it would have been his birthday. So I viewed it as karma

It’s an M95 with a storm hard case, Barrett branded Swarovski 10X scope, one mag and all the paperwork, box for scope etc.

I can get it for $4700 out the door.

I put money down on it to hold it but I’m not really up on 50 pricing and don’t see them with that scope to price compare. It’s a low serial number like 800 something. There aren’t any known issues with these are there?

TIA

Quick search $4700 is a damn good price. Quick search is around $7k. I would FO on $4700 maybe offer a some less just to see what they will go with.

Thanks for the quick reply!

It’s my regular shop that I spend way to much money at so they said that’s the out the door price so about $300 less when you take the tax into account.

They had a bunch of ammo too that I told him to come up with a price for me on as well so maybe I can score a deal on feeding it as well.

What is the approximate serial number?

830 something if I recall correctly. Might have been 630 something?

It has the arrowhead style break on it.

Yeah. I most likely built it and test fired it.

That is awesome!

I wish I could afford a 50 cal

That seems like a really good price OP. I wouldn't hesitate if you have the money.

That's been a bunch of rounds ago. That gun is most likely a '98- '99 era build.
All the 95's would shoot MOA or better.  They were my favorite to build and shoot.

Thanks for the info. Going to have to get back up there and pay it off so I can go play.
