That is a shelf, not pushpin. What you see is a mag catch hole and hole to install a paddle bushing and pin.

Clipped and Pinned does not actually describe a receiver type; it describes a full-auto grip housing that has been altered to fit a blocked semi-auto receiver while still looking like a full-auto grip housing.

The receiver in your picture has a semi-auto receiver shelf, so it is not a push-pin (usually associated with full auto), and would be suitable for a semi-auto host build.
