[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Is the 9mm AUG kit worth buying another AUG to use it?

I have a kit and I'm wondering if it's "that good" enough that I should buy another AUG to house it.

I have a converted Tavor and don't shoot it that much but then again, both my Tavors(9 & 223)are in a double rifle bag but I can get my rifle bag(AUG)and my range bag in one trip.

Just not seeing $1099 AUGs like the Tavors!

FO away. Only the BHO on the STANAG pack is usually different and you're going to use the 9mm stock instead of the NATO or AUG mag stock anyway. You'll either want a normal hammer pack or swap the NATO BHO for a standard BHO in that hammer pack.

Likely someone *wants* a NATO stock so you could probably sell that and the hammer pack to them and get a normal hammer pack for yourself.

No don't pass. That's a great deal on an AUG. If you don't need or want the NATO stock, sell it and the hammerpack for $300 and your expenditure drops to $1100.

I highly recommend the 9mm conversion kits. They add a whole new dimension to the AUG experience. They also are going up in value as they are no longer imported.

They are really fun.

Plus, if you get one in full auto it is one of the only closed bolt transferable that can be had.
