I’ve enjoyed the hell out of my G3K clone. If you go that route I highly recommend doing an SBR instead of a braced pistol, it’s far more enjoyable!
Ever since I got my stamp I’ve been using the fixed G3 stock on it, I find it to fit the fun perfectly. The full size G3’s seem to handle like hogs, but I guess that’s part of the fun. |

G3K is a fun gun, mine is a 91 with a cut down 21 barrel installed.
Friend shooting it, he wasn't holding the trigger long enough for the full 3 round burst most of the times. I thought I had a better video somewhere but can't find it.  HK G3K with heavy barrel. |

G3K all day and twice on Sunday. Definitely do it right and SBR it.

Have a g3k clone sbr built on a ptr receiver using. An RCM barrel. I love it.

G3K all day long because everyone needs a .308 with an 8" barrel!
1. Buy a PTR 51P PDW pistol. 2. SBR your PTR 51P PDW pistol. 3. Form 1 in hand, pop two pins, add a stock! As Chase45 alluded to the G3 is just a miserable beast, the FAL is much more civilized. I threw a fixed stock (more comfortable) on this one time and was able to easily hit the metal silhouettes at 400m using just the Aimpoint T1. The new PTR 51P PDW pistols now have the paddle mag releases, a definite upgrade from the push button mag release on mine.

FAL civilized? Bah! People get the saying wrong. Its the right arm of the third world!
Ha! FAL definitely on the chopping block. G3>FAL>AR10>M14>everything else. Commies can suck it! Im going with the HK91 style first because i like German guns, HK then FN in my eyes. Both top notch shit, but going with G3 first. Definitely dont want to go that short. 308 pistols are just tardy to me. Cool as shit, sure, just too impractical for me to get into. Would rather have an MP5 or some other sub gun. Just doesn't tickle my pickle. |

I have a '51. It's fairly retarded. I think the sweet spot is the G3K size.
