I have a JPC 1.0 and am looking for ideas for ifaks to mount on the cumberbund. I really like the blue force gear trauma kit now ( not the micro ) Anyone have now or tried this option ?

You should start with what you are actually carrying in your Ifak and also figure a spot that you can reach with either hand ( think self aid ) and then pick a pouch that facilitates that.  I think that pouch is a little bulky.

I put all my IFAK stuff in a dangler pouch. Keeps it readily accessible but also doesn't add any horizontal bulk so I can still lay down flat.

I am running an Eagle IFAK from North American Rescue. I have it run through where the cummerbund meets the plate. Works great for me as I get to it with either hand. If I can figure out how to post pics, I will.

Buy a complete IFAK from whomever you train with...NA Rescue, Dark Angel, Chinook Medical, or similar.

Buy the kit you trained with and the pouch designed for that kit.

If you don't have the training, get it...and you will know what you need, gear wise.  There is zero reason to buy a cool guy IFAK if you don't have the level 1 training to use it correctly...and you can't learn it full from YouTube.

I have many, many IFAK, including both BFG Trauma Now! kits and my larger is on my Eberlestock G4 and its freaking huge!! No way I'd put it on my JPC. I have a Cleer MBOK with some extra stuff in it on my JPC.

The Eagle IFAK looks big in the pictures, but actually works really well. I also have a side plate carrier set up on the opposite side of the cummerbund.

As was stated in the other posts; get training! I am military so I am TCCC qualified and the contents of the Eagle reflect that (TQ, Quick Clot and so on).

I use the HSGI bleeder to keep a slimmer profile, it has all the basics minus tourniquets, which I mount to the front.

I keep a larger IFAK on my bag.
