I was given a bunch of parts from a sheriffs model .44 cal revolver. I added what was missing to get it complete. I can't wait to try it out.

I still have a bunch of leftovers to make a .36 cal next.

That'd be a great "Answer the door" pistol.
Flashbang, smoke screen and set them on fire to cover your retreat.

I built the same gun from a Pietta kit years ago, it's one of my favorites.

If you don't already know, it's kind of a pain to load "On the gun".

The short loading levers need a little help to get more leverage.

There are purpose made tools for that but a closed end wrench works too.

Very fun to shoot.  A piece of steel or thick brass tubing will help with leverage for loading.
