My CZ85 loves them.
Too bad they're unavailable every where now. |

XTPs are the most accurate bullets I’ve seen. I’m glad to see the HAPs shooting well too.
Please share the load if you will. I have a bucket of brass and some Federal primers that could use some company. Thanks |

Uhh Shittt.... Molon is diving into 9mm now. Hell yeah.
Hornady HAP shoots slightly better than average in my OEM G19 Gen4. |
|
Thats awesome.
What are you shooting them through to get accuracy like that? |

One Wilson Combat accuracy benchmark load involves the 125gr 9MM HAP, Power Pistol @ 5.2gr.....Accurate as all get out in Glock factory barrel in 19.5/45/17.4. Sig 226 MK25 and P229.
A Colt Commander, too. Their price went up a bit. The 115 HAP is pretty decent, too. But, the 125gr is the best one! |

I've shot 1000s of the 115 HAP through my David Sams Beretta service pistol. Theyre a great alternative to the XTPs. I couldn't consistently prove a difference between them with a Ransom Rest.
They seem to like being pushed hard, but I load them soft for bullseye matches. 3 gr of N310. Needs a lighter recoil spring in the Beretta (10 or 11 lbs rather than the stock 14 lb spring). They've been intermittently available in the 500 and 3000 rd packages over the last couple years for reasonable prices. Ammoseek alerts are your friend. |
|
I used them quite a bit when I could pick them up at academy for a decent price in yesteryear
They seemed really accurate |
|
I’ve seen them at Cabela’s a few times during the panic. Not the worst prices, but it is Cabela’s… so they’re expensive.

MOLON, can you post what method you use to test this? Even with sandbags, I can't seem to hold a pistol steady enough to have confidence the group is being limited by the gun/ammo, vs just my own limitations. Those groups you posted are amazing.

Precision Delta 124s deserve a test and they are available.
Same basic design as the HAP. |

Those are great groups.
Impressive to that even "pistol" rounds can be so precise. Does the Noveske barreled upper tend to be a consistently precise shooter with "most" factory ammo ? Just curious. |
|
Just for reference, that’s a 50 yard factory target using Atlanta Arms 115 grain XTPs. Im assuming it was shot from a Ransom rest. The point is, those XTP profile bullets really do shoot. Attached File

So, If you were to actually work up the load best suited for your particular pistol barrel like rifle shooters do, imagine what you'd be able to achieve.
I like HAP bullets but for USPSA stuff I use Blue Bullets or some other powder coated to save money. |

View Quote People spend a lot of time and money searching for the right rifle/bullet combination. What often gets overlooked is that pistols and bullets work much the same way. I’ve seen as much as a 6” shift at 25 yards with different pistol bullets. |

My CK open gun will put 115gr HAP's into 1" groups at 25 yards with a very stout load of AA7.

thats interesting. I always thought the 125 HAP was for 38 super. It is .356 The 115 HAP is .355
I've bought a couple cases of the 115 HAP from LuckyGunner (they sell components in addition to ammo and have some interesting stuff sometimes). The 115 HAP used to me my go to round but I'm probably going to switch to the RMR hollow points as they are about the same price and the RMR guy is cool |

Most every bullet combo will shoot almost this good. But this load with Power Pistol is just plain awesome in this KKM barrel. |
