Just curious if anyone uses 53gr V-Max bullets for .223? I searched and found some data from other loaders, but Hornady's load data is not available on their website (they want you to buy their manual). I know every gun is different, but just curious for those who load this bullet what they use for powder and charge and their results.

If you want to save some money, while still getting the same performance you will get from the 53g V-max....... consider the
50 g Z-max (code 22262) They are exactly the same as the 50 g vmax boat tail, but are marketed with a green zombie tip and sold in 500 packs...they are the same bullet, and at 12 cents, cheaper. Great bullets.
My pet load with these in multiple AR's uses H322 powder, 2.20 coal, with accuracy below max in most instances. I would go so far to type that if you can't find an accuracy node with this combo, it's not the combo's fault, ymmv
I would use the varget on something else, I am not a fan of it any more for accuracy loads, there are just too many better options that meter better.
