I have been noticing a trend where sales emails I get all seem to include one or several bullpup shotguns and mostly from a brand I have never heard of before. Are any of these worth a second look, not sure I have seen any discussion on any of them here?

Here are ones I saw with a quick search of just PSA and Classic Arms:

Panzer Arms BP12
GForce Arms GFY-1 (uhh, I assume that stands for something other than Go F Yourself)
Radikal Arms NK-1
Black Aces Tactical BATBPB
ATI Bulldog
Charles Daly NS4 G2
Century Arms BP12
Escort BTS12
LKCI LKCI-B100
TR Imports Evo-BT Bullpup 12
Best Arms 912
Rock Island Armory VRBP-100
EAA Husan Arms MKA 1923
Landor Arms BPX-902
Tristar Sporting Arms Compact Bullpup
Kral Arms XB
Fedarms FBS
Garaysar Fear 105
Chiappa N4S
International Firearms MLT2017
TR EVO BT
PW Arms Inc BP12

There are, on top of those, lots of sub variants from the same brands and I didn't bother including the better known Kel-tec and Tavor ones. A lot of them look very related to each other if not all of them being based on exactly the same system.

I have the Panzer Arms BP12 and after ~200 rounds or so, no troubles and it just works.

There was a huge run on defensive shotguns last year.  I think a lot of dealers ordered them to have something to sell.  A LGS here had racks of em.  I’ve never used one of the ones mentioned, but i have shot the DP 12 and i believe it is impressive.  Sixteen shells went real fast once you got in sync.

Interesting that it seems there are more models of bullpup shotguns than there are bullpup rifles. I never really noticed that.

OTOH, I guess bullpup makes a lot of sense when you consider that the legal shotgun barrel limit is 18". That's one reason I never really warmed up to shotguns. The conventional guns are just so long and unwieldly compared to a carbine.

I think if you looked beneath the skin on those shotguns, you'd find that they come from a handful of factories (mostly in Turkey) and the real differences are cosmetic and finish spec.

Turkey is roughly the size of Ohio.  There are right around 250 different companies that produce firearms in Turkey.  The amount of Turkish firearms coming into the US right now is astounding.

I think the Panzer BP-12 and Black Aces Tactical semi-auto are my favorites from an aesthetic standpoint.  Really haven't heard much of anything bad about any of the bullpup shotguns though.  They are trending towards the MKA-1919 mag being the quasi-standard for them.

Kinda want to get one, don't need to get one.  I already went down the Turkish M4-clone path.

Are there any U.S. made shotguns on that list?
Looked at a bpup Turkish made one in the lgs the other day but hard passed on its over $700 price tag.
Yes I would give more than that for a kool US made one though.

I think kel tec is the only one, but don't quote me.

All these are definitely a result of the 8million new gun owners looking for any defensive shotgun because that's what the current president said to go out and buy. And they don't require a permit in many of the areas that require permits for AR's.

Many people say the turkish shotguns work just fine, but I don't know that I would trust my life to one.
