Honest question,
I know HK parts cost what they cost, But what is the market for these Kits? seems like most of the kits is comprised of parts that people already have or do no wear out. Stock, carrier, Hand guard? I people swapping out receivers? |

Thought those kits DID NOT include the bolt or barrel.
Anyone know a source for authentic 417 bolts? Price? |

The fact that you don’t get a barrel for your $3500 investment makes it a non-starter for me.

No lower, no bolt, no bolt carrier, no barrel.
Those can't be imported to the US. The bolt carrier can be, but scarce as a part. So basically you're shit out of luck |

It seems like Brownells has been pushing their "limited quantity" for a while now. Maybe they aren't selling well for the price and these reasons?
According to their video, these are full auto kits too. |
