It is hard for him to know.  He can see that sig sold X amount to Y retailer.  But he doesn’t know how many were for back orders or for the self/site.

Unfortunately, this.  There are certain dealers, distributors, etc that I can see inventory on - however, it's not live and in this climate, a moot point.  

My search continues

I put a Grey 11.5" 556 pistol on backorder through Euro Optic a week or two ago. They said they had a few dozen on order and they had been trickling in. There were 5 people ahead of me in line for them. I spoke to Jason for the order and he said I'd probably see it within the next month or two, I'm in no hurry though.

If there was someone who had them in stock at MAP then of course I would have bought one, but good luck with that. Most of the dealers getting them in are putting them right on GB it seems where they're going for $500+ above MAP. To me it's just not worth constantly checking sites and missing out on email notifications to maybe get lucky.

If I were you I'd call Jason and get on the list for one and wait it out.

I had two LGS search for this.

Both are big with Sig and they sell Sigs at good pricing.

Had to hunt down for last 5 months but no where to find.

One day I walked in, they had it on the wall without calling me.

Did have to pay full price but I am glad I did.

Removing factory MB is a pain but I have someone working on that for me.
