Good morning, Gents.

I have a 10/22 that isn’t threaded from the factory - it does have an attached front fiber optic sight.  Im wanting to throw a suppressor on this host, but cant decide whether I should have this barrel threaded or just purchase an aftermarket 10/22 barrel and just swap out barrels.  Buying a new barrel isnt much more expensive to do and just seems like less hassle to me overall.  Thoughts?

Replace it. They are super simple to change, and many aftermarkets will be better than the original. Then in arfcom fashion, you will have both.

If the barrel is especially accurate, I'd keep it.  If you can't find a good barrel in stock anywhere I'd keep the one you have. Otherwise, get a new one.

Good deal.

Any recommendations on aftermarket barrel manufacturers?

Would prefer for barrel to have front sight on it too.

Was a little confused on whether these would fit my Ruger 10/22.  It says compatible with .920 profiles - Im assuming thats fairly standard profile on most 10/22s?

It will fit your receiver but not your stock...if you have a tapered barrel. You can dowel/sand your stock to accept the bull barrel
