Have any been approved on a trust without showing proof they were on the trust before Jan 31? I currently have suppressors (both form 1 and 4's) and don't list them on the trust, just send a copy of the trust with the rest of the paperwork (and e-file). They've all been approved. |

I'm aware of that, I was wondering if anyone tried it without. Seeing since some get denied even though they are filled out the same as others, the consistency isn't there. That "rule" was also said at the beginning, and might not actually being applied. I might try it, but I keep going back and forth on this. |

Got back 2 more recently so only have 2 left to be approved. BTW, one of the ones I got back was a Century AP5-P and in the manufacture box I put “MKE (MAKINA VE KIMYA INDUSTRISI), TURKIYE” that I had seen in another post. Of course the only one I’m wanting to change a few things on still waiting on. Don’t want to change anything until it approved in its current condition. The wait goes on! |

FD-258 is a standardized FBI card for non-criminal purposes. |

They back dated this rule, I can back date my trust right? |

Most all departments use electronic prints. But systems do fail and you have to have a backup. But we do paper cards all the time for the ATF and other reasons. |

He said his understanding is the page that shows the braced items in the trust would need to have been notorized as such prior to Jan 31. My trust attorney put out an email blast on Jan. 16 saying the same. "IF YOU WANT TO REGISTER THE FIREARM IN YOUR TRUST, ASSIGN IT TO THE TRUST ASAP AND BEFORE THE RULE PUBLISHES". His emphasis, not my CapsLock. My trust uses notarized assignment sheets. I assigned my two brace pistols to my trust on Jan. 24. I freeBR's eForm 1'd them on March 30 under my trust. In addition to my trust and assignment sheets, I included the receipt from the notary. Both freeBR eform 1's were approved May 2. |

4 months yesterday.....prints received 1/19/23. I believe firmly that there is something going on with this process. Almost like they are waiting to withdraw their offer to the free stamp. ATF are awful....they suppose to protect guns rights for the people but in fact they are making law obeying citizens into criminals. If they can't arrest the bad people doing these things, they create a whole new set of felons to pad their arrest portfolio. These people deserve to be defunded.....just for the simple fact that they are trying to make criminals out law obeying citizens. |

It's just a part of the NFA game. Always has been...always will be. |

For basically the cost of a single submission through SS you could get an ETF file from PrintScan at your local UPS store and submit it directly on the eForms website. You then have an electronic copy of your prints that's good forever and can be used hundreds of times if you want to at no additional cost. I guess I just don't get the reason that the SS Form 1 process even exists. The process on the eForms website is beyond simple and then you don't have a third party involved. |

UPS Store is an hour round trip. I work five days a week and am on call 24/7. I am married to a dept. director of a big hospital, and we have a nine-month-old baby. Time is money to me. A few clicks and entering my credit card and uploading a few pics from my phone was worth it to me. |

SS was cool when it was $5, now it's way more worth while getting the UPS finger prints and filling out the form yourself. First one took me about a half hour to fill out, the 7th one was like 3 minutes. |

It’s such a simple process doing it directly with the ATF without involving a middleman. |

Just got 1 of 2 from 3/18 approved. The other one took 6 weeks to go from pending research to submitted status. Filed as a trust with 1 RP, eft prints, and non-notorized inventory sheet. Was kind of hoping I'd win the batch approval lottery as I have 2 suppressors pending, but I never win anything |
I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.

Yes, people asked me if they can put a VFG on their MPX pistol or do they have to SBR it first! They had no idea about the ruling. Still waiting on a 2/2 submit date…. The other 7 from the same day have been approved long ago. |

You can't decide to change what you'd already approved of, not tell people and then prosecute them. Never gonna fly. |

I haven't e-filed since Obama. I upload a JPG of my fingerprint card and passport photo? And JPGs of my receivers? Whole receivers or just serial/mfg? Can I add multiple receivers on the same e-file? On the Line Item tab, Type vs Product Type? Caliber? Barrel length? How specific do I have to be? My first SBRs ever were "various" in a number of these columns. Thanks. |

If you do a bunch of forms, you can mail all the fingerprint coversheets in with two sets of fingerprints and the ATF will process it. When you submit the eform ATF will email you two pdf's, one is the F1 with a "SUBMITTED" watermark and the second pdf is the coversheet that has to be mailed with your fingerprints. You have ten days to mail the fingerprints and accompanying coversheet(s). |
