Looking for a skeet/trap/sporting clays gun for wife. Want to know if Franchi be considered. I want to be able to turn AS off but be able to restore it if it needs warrantee work.

Yes, it's just a small rod you bend one side out a bit and slide out. Stash it away some place safe, if you lose it you most likely won't be able to get a replacement easily.

Thanks. Local Sportsman's Warehouse has an SL for $1349. I think it will fit her better than the Rem 1100LT-20.
