This old Blackhawk! Nylon holster were pretty nice imo.  
Used to have one (and still do have it somewhere) for my Beretta 92.  
Then came cheap expensive kydex

They function like a taco, but much more retention due to the rubbery lining. I prefer these over the tacos.

I was planing on getting some a while back and actually got busy and didn't think about it.

I was wondering if the material they are made of helped with the retention or not.

Those were decent holsters. I use to sell them back in the day.
