Myself and some other guys always felt the recoil stroke for 308 was too short on the gun and that was a cause of a lot of the issues, I wonder if the WLVRN has increased that at all and/or what other changes were made to improve the design over the MDR. I will be curious to see the long term reviews.

From what I can tell these are the changes.
1. FE system is gone
2. Trunnion is machined into the upper
3. More clamping force on barrel
4. New bolt/carrier design
5. Finger burner is gone, new overhang in its place
6. New seperatable feed ramp on the barrel assembly
7. Steel BCG rails are gone. We haven't seen the new design for it
8. Lower looks mostly the same/latest 2023 mdrx upgrades
It looks like the stroke is the same.
