| On the L & LC the sling mount swivels to either side. The LC stock mount is on the top and the Ls stock is on the o ly set up for right handed shooters though you could in theory remove the rivets, cut a hole in the right side to swap over the sling mount and use the piece to epoxy in place |

The ones on mine go about half way of where I'd want them. They stop inline with the sight base. |

Biggest hammer and biggest punch I had. Well see if letting it soak in kroil for a week will work when I get home tomorrow. If all else fails I will take it to my tool room guy to drill it out. Fixturing it might be the hardest part. |

Now to figure out how to press the barrel into the new receiver without harming the receiver. Got it all put together, ran 2 mags without any issues. Also after shooting the mags that came with the kit they smell exactly like cumin, anyone else's? Attached File I was thinking about cerakoting all the furniture and kit parts black to match the receiver but this 2 tone look kinda fucks hard |

That looks great. The black metal with the green furniture actually looks great in that photo and light. I would leave it for now. You can always color it later. |

I know that smell anywhere Yes - I think its Meta Cresol or some similar phenol - It also reminds me of the old Band-Aid Brand bandages that came in a metal tin. Before they irradiated band-aids post manufacturing, they used phenols to sterilize them in manufacturing. Sometimes I love the smell of bad-4-U chemicals like that or things like Hoppes Solvent, Old Cosmoline - I bet some of us here would buy cologne called "Old Cosmoline" : ) |
