[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Does anyone make a short (<20" bbl), light, threaded bbl, bolt action in 6.5 creedmoor, for <$500?

I'm looking for a 6.5 Creedmoor bolt action with a threaded barrel under 20" for suppressed hunting. So far the only one I've found is the Thompson Compass II Compact. Under $500 is preferable. It seems that most are at least 22" and rarely threaded.

The Tikka CTR is available in 20", but those are ~$1,000.

Buy what you want and have it cut. That's what I did with my Ruger Predator. My gunsmith charged me $125 to cut and thread the barrel and time the brake.

don't know if they are still out there or not, but the ruger scout was chambered in 6.5 with an 18 inch barrel

It's a heavy barrel but the Remington 783 16.5" is threaded and in 6.5cm at $320.
